RE: Uniform Violations
Dear Parents & Guardians,
The Surrattsville High School Uniform Committee worked diligently last year to institute a mandatory uniform policy in accordance with Administrative Procedure 0600. While the administration can appreciate hardships, issues with ordering items, and new students who enter the building daily and who need to be given an opportunity to obtain the uniform, we have a very serious concern regarding the number of students who come to school daily out of compliance.
Effective November 7, 2007, the administration per grade level will be conducting uniform sweeps and the violators will be dealt with accordingly:
I. VIOLATIONS AND CONSEQUENCES

(The student will receive a written correspondence. STOP NOTICE: Uniform Violation/Letter).
3. Repeated violations will be deemed as persistent disobedience or insubordination and will be dealt with in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct, 10101, PGCPS.
The following consequences will be imposed by administration:
• Loss of after school activities
